The Denman Bike Shop is up-beat, fast-paced and in a hip part of town. Don’t forget cozy and creative!
Depending on the applicant’s experience, the position involves a combination of building and/or servicing bikes, as well as assisting customers in bicycles sales & accessories purchases, assessing and estimating service jobs, entering computerized sales orders, and/or inventory management.
We provide competitive financial incentives and a positive work environment.
Our retail specialty is in comfort, cruiser, and city bikes, and we service all types.
Qualifications and Experience include:
- Minimum 2 years bike shop experience.
- Ability to build bikes to a high standard and in a timely manner
- Diagnose & repair bikes
- Craftsmanship & Attention to detail
- Multi-task and join in the buzz of the shop
- Help customers to make appropriate choices
- Polite, professional attitude.
- Some computer skills required
Must be physically able to lift up to 30 lbs overhead.
All positions require some weekend work. Some year-round, other’s seasonal.
